We recently completed a little remodeling for the House of Vans facility in Brooklyn, NY making room for more flat ground or venue space when needed. The bowl has been removed and the space repurposed into a cement skate park. The new area includes 4′ quarters, a bowl corner, hips, a euro-gap, long ledges, banks and a rail. We also added a long slappy curb; complete with curb cuts and a fire hydrant replica. The bank-to-wall underneath the HOV mural was removed and has been replaced by a large brick bank paying homage to NYC’s iconic Brooklyn Banks. House of Vans is still a private space and only open for events.
